The Black Horse, Reigate

The current tenants of this pub took over in late 2007 and apparently used to run the Skimmington Castle, which i suppose explains the rise of the Black Horse and the demise of the Skimmie. The steak i had here (rib-eye) did not come with a steak knife, despite being medium rare (as asked for) mainly cos it didn't need it - the steak was so very tender and the vegetables nicely cooked instead of all this nearly raw rubbish. The Whitebait are "to die for" - the puds are just Mmmmmmmmm

The Black Horse, Reigate

An absolutely brilliant pub / restaurant - went for my dad's 90th - they couldn't do enough for us, nothing was too much trouble. Excellent food, excellent service - what more can i say, except, try it !!
