The Bulls Head, Davenham

Had a stop off here for lunch in April 2012 whilst cycling....we were delighted because we knew nothing about the previous bad reviews.....The reason to be delighted...upon entering absolutely soaking wet from the massive downpour...we were greeted so lovely, by all three ladies who were obviously enjoying there work...the place was spotless...the loo's fab...didn't try the ales..as we was on the bike...but they looked really well kept...and as a timed serve publican I can assure you...the look is as important as the taste...anyway....we had a sandwich and soup...which is not the cheapest, but when you get to appreciate what's on the plate, you are more than happy to pay the price....excellent fodder...great coffee...lovely company....go back..??.... definitely...great place.....ignore the comments from before 2011...really lovely people....!!

The George and Dragon, Great Budworth

Just been re-furbished...lovely welcome, lovely food and first class ale...can't fault the place...well done...great place....
