The Poachers Retreat, Coventry

A friendly local pub, The new management are welcoming and trying to build up a community pub, in a difficult year they have done there best to spruce up a previously run down public house and restruaraunt and have held events such as Valentines nights with 3 course meals and live music, jewelly parties, fancy dress 80's night, Halloween night etc etc, The pub had a previous reputation as a drug pub, this is something I have seen no evidence of. The downside is the outdated and in badly needed updating of the toilets however this is something the new owners are aware of and will be addressing in the future.
