Rude aggressive inflexible manager and mediocre food.
I've never written a review before but I am compelled after a terrible time here.
We waited over an hour and 10 mins (it didn't seem that busy) and despite asking after 45 mins and being told it's on its way, then you are next (we weren't) it took another 25 mins for the food to come.
My fish pie was sloppy full of a frozen fix mix, but piping hot. The chops were awful.
The nice bar staff apologised (my children were on the verge of tears) but they couldn't even organise bread in under 15 mins that came after the long awaited food. So the bar staff offered free drinks but we asked ti have ice cream for the 2 children instead...but on asking the manager refused, he says no one complains about the wait and it was just tough luck as the pies take a long time. On saying if we knew that we wouldn't have ordered pies (for 2 out of a party of 6) - or they should put a note on the menu. He wouldn't agree and was very rude and aggressive - recommend you avoid this place until there is a new management team.
