Aldersgate Social Club, Clacton on Sea
Now no longer a social club but a proper pub called the Aldersgate Welcome Inn just opposite train station. Visited on a Saturday night, place very clean and staff friendly. Cheap prices (i.e. Pint of Fosters �2.40). Also sell real ales. There are Two bars and a stage in main bar. Good comedian there on night I visited. Locals friendly. All day food, had a full breakfast there following Monday morning. Just what Clacton needs. Well done, puts the others to shame.
