The Plume of Feathers, Sherborne

Went to the pub last night to listen to a fantastic band. The only trouble was by 11pm everyone was coming in from other pubs and it was heaving to the door and could not then get a drink. Then a local pierced and tattooed mohican bloke came out of the toilets obviously drugged up and drunk was on the floor in a bit of a mess. Went in there today and the same pierced tattooed snd mohicaned bloke was in there and playing led zep at full blast. I love LZ but not at lunchtime when pensioners were waiting over an hour for food with no apology or reassurance. Later found out that te landlord was on holiday. Classic case of while the cats away the mice will play. Anyway had to leave and go next door to the half moon where we had speedy service and great food.
