The Henry VI, Eton

I am a regular at this pub which is why I am appalled at the last two very incorrect reviews. The pub was recently refurbished in January, note Drunken Ducks previous review stating the smell of paint then in his latest review he claims it needs a refurb! The pictures of the pub are out of date. The food is great, so much so it has had great reviews by Giles Coren in the Times Magazine. It is most definitely the best pub in Eton and I would go as far to say in Windsor. It is always busy with a very nice mix of people. Anyone in the area will always say there is a good buzz about the place, and at weekends it most definitely comes alive. I recently went to their 70's night which was absolutely packed. What a fantastic night, most people dressed up including the band with prizes given out at the end. You get much more than just a pub from this place. The new owners have really turned this place around and I would certainly recommend this place for a great night out at weekends along with a lovely place for a bite to eat. Don't be put off by the previous reviews.
