The Hope, Carshalton

Any CAMRA members who havn't yet visited must make this a must on the travels of south London. With 7 real ales and 3 riders, how can you avoid a visit!

It simply is the stand out pub in the area.

The Harrow Inn, Cheam

Controlled by a large chain and showing all the signs, but offering good value. Only pub in the village with Wells Bombadier at 2.49 a pint :)

With some work, this could easily be the best pub around!

The Railway Hotel, Cheam

Just been in to sample ales and observe the atmosphere, but seem to have wasted valuable drinking time! SIBA beers have disappeared in preference for average ales from standard listings. Pub chains must give their landlords more buying power or face cutting their own throats!
