The Two Brewers Inn, Chipperfield

Sadly, pretty duff! I've eaten here twice in the last few months, the first time we were all(about 10 of us, all locals) very disappointed, the second time was just to see if it was as awful as we remembered. That time around it was almost adequate for a bad pub, in other words, just don't bother.

They have THE most quintessentially English village green setting and it was great up until the revamp just over a year ago when they ripped out the hedges, removed the old pub signage and 'gentrified' the place, now...beer good, food bad. Stop for a pint, but just stick to a bag of crisps!
