THE Distillers, Hammersmith

Feels more like a bar than a pub. Gets incredibly busy after office hours when the local businesses spill out into here (Frequently four deep at the bar). Despite having loads of staff they don't seem that clued up or motivated, although do have plenty of attitude, so you can be waiting ages.

The beer is ok, there's often Doom Bar and a local beer on (often Sambrooks), although I've had to take back off pints on several occasions.

It's still one of the better pubs on the Fulham Palace Road - but that's hardly saying much.

The Raven, Stamford Brook

Have to agree with the previous few comments on this place - what was once one of my top five pubs in London is now a pretty drab & miserable pub to visit.

The staff are indifferent at best and the food is way too pricey for what is very average pub grub.

The beer is still pretty good however, as a freehouse there are usually 3 different ales on, and it's a varied range. Long gone are the tasting notes under the pumps though.

Overall just feels disappointing - it should be a much better pub than it is, but I guess the Jagermeister stickers in the window show what level of clientele and service they're now pitching this place at.
