The Gatwick, Horley

visited this pub friday 19th december with my husband after visiting relatives. The pub was extremley busy at lunchtime, food came very quickly and it was home made english food. eg cottage pie and steak and ale.Food excellant, beer good, Staff very friendly. We shall return.

The Cherry Tree, Copthorne

this is my second time of trying this pub, I thought i would give it another go, thinkingn our last bad experience 3 months ago was a one off. this time it was worse, we waited 1/2 hour when only us and another couple were in their. We ordered ours first but got ours last. our 2 steaks with different sauces got mixed up, the medium was well done, fatty, and tasted awful. The well done was raw and sent back but still awful. After at the bar we overheard that they did not even have a chef that night. Then to top it off my glass was chipped. Never ever will i visit this pub again.
