The Stag on the River, Eashing

We were recommended the Stag after a friend in Godalming started to frequent the place. We went on a Saturday night, it was pretty busy but we were so overly impressed. It has clearly been 'done up' with great thought and attention to detail. The quality of food and service was first class and the young waitress who served us even showed us around their letting rooms (quite new I think) after we enquired about them. The rooms are also very tastefully decorated. They had TEA, Sheer Drop and Doom Bar on the pumps, the latter was fab.
Two fires going, very warm and cosy and a big thumbs up from us!

The Richard Onslow, Cranleigh

I visited this pub with a group of colleagues a couple of months ago. Despite a number of the negative comments we had a superb meal, great service and excellent beer. I like the decor and hope that these guys continue to make a success of it
