The Eel Pie, Twickenham

An unremarkable, dingy pub where you may feel conspicuous if not accompanied by a mangy dog and smelling of wee. Service is poor from staff who somewhat bizarrely seem to find the consumption of alcohol on the premises objectionable. A far better atmosphere and service can be found a few yards away on the riverfront in either the Barmy Arms or the White Swan. Avoid like the plague.
