The Well House Inn, Mugswell

"We're a pub, not a restaurant". How true.

Lovely location with deserved CAMRA listing, though looking scruffy outside at the moment.
Dropped in around 12 for Sunday lunch and was served with what reminded me of school dinners from the 1970s. Lamb in the "lamb pie" was pink, uncuttable and left on the side. "Roast parsnip" of the roast lamb was roast for about 4 mm, then became wood.
