The Chequers Inn, Battle
What a gem, great character, great atmosphere with superbly kept real ale, Tanglefoot, Harveys & Broadside. Our stay there (five nights) was fantastic, beautiful clean bedrooms, great breakfast and perfect Hosts - well done Julie and Derek - a truly wonderful character filled pub with attentative staff.
