The Estcourt Tavern, Watford

Good Pre-Match pub. Nice atmosphere, but small and thus crowded on match days. Still, far far better than a trip to the Red Lion. Food is hearty and decently priced though.

Yates's, Watford

Nobody drinks anything other than Carling or Stella and that says it all. Watford is poor for pubs, but this one is still to be avoided.

Seems to attract scummers and shirtless northern labourers like poo attracts flies.

The Wishing Well, Watford

Dark and Dingy. Not a particularly welcoming place, and the layout is a little strange, pillars and wooden dividers aplenty. But the beer is good, the guinness is cold and the Thai food is fantastic, and very reasonably priced (like �5 a head tops). Wouldn�t spend a whole evening there, but there are certainly worse pubs around.
