The Bridge, Barnes

My friend and I had lunch here yesterday. Not surprisingly it was one of the only pubs in Barnes that had a table free and after dining there I now know why!

We were seated at a table right by the garden doors, which was freezing and really uncomfortable. A waitress who clearly needs a new job as this one must make her very unhappy, came over and took our order. We waited ages for 2 glasses of water and never got out bread. Our roast then came which was cold and the Yorkshires and potatoes were so hard you could cause someone some very serious damage with them. Our wine never came and when we did receive it from another waitress after chasing, the waitress I had chased asked me why I was chasing as it was on its way!!

Dessert was equally lame and not once did the staff smile.

Awful place, awful food and awful service.
