Cat and Fiddle Inn, Macclesfield

I,v been going to this place for years now, as it's a great ride out on a motorbike and superb roads despite the speed traps. But to the point, The CAT & FIDDLE HAS SOME OF THE WORST SERVICE I'V EVER COME ACROSS. I'v eaten there once, I wont again! Go in just for a coffee, wait 15min while the jokers catch up with washing pots, having a natter, etc, and generaly ignore you!!! get a begrudged weak, luke warm coffee, where your invited to finish making it yourself, with plastic milk & paper suger. OK, its �1.50, but I'd sooner pay �2.00 for a decent drink and a smile. COME ON MINE HOST, get your act together, I'v seen better service at Greasy Joe's, The CAT & FIDDLE have a captive audience selling what must equal at least 200 coffee's a day, they could do a lot better and make it memorable for the right reasons, or maybe, they just dont care, I know I'm not alone here, most of my mates wont even go in and pay to be insulted with such shoddy service and poorly made snacks. 'Otherwise' the pub is a great meeting place, in a great location with an open fire when it's cold.
