I'd rather have a high colonic in Tijuana than drink the beer in there again. It was awful!!! The only saving grace it has decent football, but these days you can get that in just about any pub. Avoid. walk down the hill to the railway or the Paxton

The Railway Bell, Crystal Palace

Real nice local boozer. Good ales. Nice beer garden excellent Sunday roast. Recommended. Staff were courteous. bit of a cliquish crowd. But would definitely return.

The Gipsy Hill Tavern, Upper Norwood

More like drinking in a library rather than a pub. Bar staff more intersted in the paper than serving. NO atmosphere. Better pubs in the area.Guinness off as well. Decent garden
