Big Knob You are disgusting....
We all know who you are, and if I (or any of my friends) see you around, you will not like what you will hear. You are trying to disparage this excellent pub and the landlord, who is a very well respected member of the community, but you will not succeed. Get a life, and GET OUT OF THIS TOWN

A local to be proud of!
The Mitre Inne is the hub of High Barnet society! Walk through the door and leave the stresses of the 21st century behind!
It's well run, by efficient and friendly staff, and the landlord (Gary), is usually in the pub welcoming customers, and making sure everything is running smoothly.
I feel comfortable going into the Mitre alone for a glass of wine or a G&T after a stressful day at work, with the knowledge that The Mitre is a safe and friendly pub for a woman on her own.
I'm not a beer drinker myself, but my husband says the real ales are excellent. The menu is a tad unadventurous, but the food is actually quite good - as is the wine list!
We locals know how lucky we are to have such a fabulous pub in our town, and when friends and family visit, The Mitre is our first port of call!

Ye Olde Mitre Inne, Barnet
The Mitre is our local, and we regularly enjoy a night out with friends at this excellent Inne, but we don't often eat there. However, last Friday night we decided to look at the new menu, and we ordered the steak and ale pie which was recommended by another customer. Well, my husband and I both agreed that it was THE best steak and ale pie we have ever tasted! (And I've tasted quite a few). Served with creamy mash, garden peas and 'squeaky' green beans with a choice of gravy. Yum! Will be eating at the Mitre again very soon!
