The Ministry of Ale, Burnley

Great little pub with world class beers. The Ministry offers exceptional real ale by various guest breweries and also always has two of their own brews on tap which are brewed on site. There is also a great choice of Belgium and German beers to choose from if you're after something a little different.

The landlord is a really great guy who is always very friendly and talkative and the customers are very welcoming.

HOWEVER!!!!!!! The landlady is by far the most miserable and rude person i have ever known to work in the pub trade. She simply never smiles and has been extremely rude to myself and my wife on several occasions. She really is that bad and i honestly do not know one person who thinks she is anything other than down right miserable. It's such a pity as the pub itself is brilliant but we will never go back until she is gone. We choose to spend our hard earned pennies elswhere now which is sad as we live 2 mins walk away.

In summary: Great beer, great pub, great landlord, TERRIBLE landlady!!
