The New Cross Turnpike, Welling

Like all weatherspoons, the beer tastes watery (hense the low prices) the door staff, and some of the bar staff are rude and up themselves.
Another problem I have is like all weatherspoons no real community or atmosphere.

No it's not perfect, however unless you want every pub to turn into a lifeless weatherspoons consider reading the following...
The Duchess has a new Land Lady that has put alot of work into the running of the pub in order to create a possitive drinking environment. Whilst she has succeeded in removing the low life drug users and the trouble makers, she has'nt unfortunatly been able to get rid of the bad label. This unfortunatly means no new punters are coming in to a place where they would be welcome to drink and enjoy. The more profits the pub makes the better it will look and the better it will be for all. I must emphasise my point by saying it's not that bad and why not show your support before yet another pub gets shut down and turned into a commercial weatherspoons!!!
