Bulls Head Hotel, Sheffield

The Bull's Head has experienced a total transformation of late and that can only be a good thing, because this pub is the jewel-in-the-crown of leafy Ranmoor.

Mine hosts Jill and Chris appear to have got the blend just right, making the 'Bully' THE place to catch up on live sport - showing sports in high definition via Sky and ESPN - relax on a lazy Sunday afternoon or enjoy a few pints on a Friday night.

The pub is immaculate, comfortable and the vibe chilled. Once you've settled in you really don't want to rush home. The food is excellent and the chicken wings are very reasonably priced.

There is usually a range of real ales and it's nice to have an alternative to Strongbow cider; the Bull's Head have Thatcher's cider on tap.

So if you've not ventured into the 'Bully' for some time, why not step inside and see for yourself the hard work Chris, Jill and team have put in making this popular pub an even better place to socialise, watch sport, read a paper or enjoy some good quality food and ale.
