The Mug House Inn, Bewdley

Can't give this pub a proper score because I never got there this time, though I had an adequate meal there after booking last April.
By phone, I tried to book for lunch for 4 people for next day (29 Dec 09). Landlord said he wouldn't take bookings because it might be busy - isn't that the reason for making a booking? When I said I'd booked successfully before, he said the person shouldn't have taken the booking. When I said it was a serious booking, he said 'it would tie up a table for an hour'.
With that kind of money-above-all attitude from a landlord, I'm glad I didn't go there - certainly won't again.
Booked at The Little Packhorse instead - busy but no problem in them taking a booking.
