P.S and as monkfish points out it is one of the most laid back and chilling out pubs in amsterdam with great location and brill staff and it's not the pretentious rip-off places like those on the damrak, i.e grasshopper.

Hill Street Blues, Amsterdam

I have been to Hill street blues many times over the years and it's the cheapest you'll find for city centre with a pint setting you back 2.90e in jan 2005, I will be back there next week and will post another review with prices.
