The Wheatsheaf Inn, Wetheral

The Wheatsheaf re-opened on Monday 3rd December - and what a great night it was - despite zilch publicity from Punch. New landlord and landlady are lovely. Food is not being served at the moment but they are hoping to get that sorted shortly. Not smokey any more since smoking ban.

The Lowther Arms, Cumwhinton

Lovely friendly pub with welcoming and helpful staff. Good home cooking - big portions!
