Just a thought seems that every body who has a problem with this pub seems to want to remain Anonymous is that because they have not developed there social skills or are standing agaist the wall trying to hide the yellow streak running the lengh of there back if you want to critsize something at least make your self known. or maybe you do. One pint and run off home to moan about a pub you don't drink in. see you in the wethersoons cheap beer, tvs, fruit machines, one sad old man sitting at a table for six covered in tomato ketchup and salt and pepper

Well Where do i start the pub is always busy simply because it is a traditional good old English real Ale pub but now with and added twist. The far end of the pub has been turned into a Belgian beer bar that is an over night success from what i have seen. I use the tradional end of the pub and find the locals a great bunch those that didn't might try talking to them they don't bite. Bar staff very friendly. No tv screens machines or other conversation killers. Just decent people talking to each other from all walks of life in what i feel is a very safe enviroment. No i don't work for the Cock hotel or have anything to do with it other than the fact that i am lucky enough to live within walking distance of it. good beer nice people no trouble and great pork pies what more do you need
