The Ramsholt Arms, Ramsholt

Lovely location and good food. I do agree that this pub may be slightly pretentious and only interested in commercial value but perhaps this is due to as edchambers stated, having to "squeeze maximum profit from every session." Nevertheless, a nice pub from which I enjoyed lovely views and an evening riverside walk.

The Fountain, Tuddenham

Excellent food and sophisticated atmosphere. The highlight of my visit to the Fountain was the very friendly, efficient staff who would carry out any request immediately. Definitely more of a restaurant than a pub but with well kept Adnams ales. The only let down would be the fairly small, very enclosed garden, but the covered outside area which is heated is a nice touch.
