The Pigs Nose, East Prawle
This is a brilliant pub that seems to have a rich mix of clientele, from locals to walkers exploring this beautiful part of Devon. Though it has great ales, the Heritage cider is excellent too. Food a little disappointing and it took a while to show up, but we made up for it with pork scratchings. Our visit was made for us by Parsnip, one of the pub's dogs, deciding to go a five mile walk with us, despite our best efforts to send her home. Take a walk along the coastal path to Lannacombe beach (with or without Parsnip), then finish it off with a few restorative ales at the Pig's Nose. You won't be disappointed.
