The Five Bells, Chelsfield

On a recent visit to jolly old England looking for the highway and directions we stumbled across The Five Bells pub in the village of Chelsfield Kent
Wanting to get a traditional good old English pint we decided this was the place for directions.
Well it was well worth the stumble !!
A quaint old fashioned pub with a welcoming atmosphere and really nice outside area ,garden They referred to it as. One of the highlights of our vacation relaxing and friendly people. We had a pint which was great and ordered some food.I chose horseradish fish cakes yummy moist and flavorful. My hubby went traditional with the fish and chips mushy peas little different mushy peas for me but tasted fine. We loved it so good....
Must say the best part was chatting with the landlord and his lovely wife we had great fun and it was very English.We will if we can be back to the Five Bells next year
And also got the directions we needed. It was all a great experience to add to our vacation stories back in the USA.
