Waterend Barn, St Albans

Splendidly Devine..Are the first words that came out of mouth when entering this fine establishment. T'was greeted in the friendliest of manners with a lovely lady holding the door open for my dear husband and I (I'm in a wheelchair) We absolutley fell in love with the "Waterend Barn" and only wish we had one closer to Cambridgeshire. The staff were marvelous & exceedingly helpful - "Iain" who served us our food was delightful full of beans and very greatful for our custom and not only that gave my husband a good old football chat, he was over the moon!
Food was exceptionally good value for the quality and the lovely atmospheric restaurant was great to have an adorable romantic dinner.
The Waterend Barn was getting increasingly busier due to it being a Friday evening at 19:30 and the younger generation were getting ready for the night. Unfortunatley we're a little past that! So we decided to leave after sharing a beautiful portion of profiteroles!

Overall an absolutley glorious place to drink and dine - will deffinatley be returning to Saint Albans to see you again The Wonderful Waterend Barn!!
