The Garibaldi, Knaphill

Everytime I have been in there the staff and punters have been really friendly. The beer is also good.

I was also amazed to find out that this pub is where the late sixties beat combo 'Blue Stratos' reformed. (Apparently they had a lot of top 10 hits in their day) I hear they have played a few times up there, and I saw them play once in the pub with many of their celebrity friends guesting on songs.

Check out their new album 'Splash it all over...AGAIN!' two tracks were recorded in the Knap.

Don't forget the quizzes on the 2nd and last Sunday of the month. They are free to enter, good fun, and the prizes are great.

The Crown On The Bridge, Caversham

Nice pub, but one of the regulars appears to have tourettes!

Saturday night is the best night to go, the landlord buys all the drinks!!

FACT - Not many people are aware this pub is also the home of the Berkshire Chapter of the Neil Diamond Fan Club.

On sunny days, chocolate covered marshmallows decorate the bar area to create a sophisticated ambience, and are free to non diners.
