Old Ship Inn, Sidmouth

Went out for dinner last night usually go to either the Anchor or the Blue Ball as we are locals. Thought we'd try the Ship as it is a sister pub of the Blue Ball.
We both ordered Lasagne myself the vegetarian option and my husband the beef one. The garlic bread was not french bread but I actually preferred that. The reason I am commenting is the so called Lasagne. Just a comment for the chef really. Lasagne is either beef or vegetables layered between pasta and betchmel sauce( or even cheese sauce) the beef one had quite dry beef mince topped by one layer of pasta and melted cheese on top. My vegetable one was the same! Also when you dress a salad, make it, dress it and then plate it. Or what you get is too strong dressing followed by dry salad.
Very disappointed won't return or recommend. Shame as we are in a very strong position to recommend to a very large large amount of holidaymakers.
