We visited on a Sunday afternoon in the hope of a good meal!! To start with it cost 5.75 for 5 pieces of poorly cooked breaded scampi. For mains We ordered the beef roast, I can truly say it was the worst meal ever ordered! There was 3 small cold dry roast potatoes, cold sliced carrots, 1 piece of over cooked mushy cold broccoli, 1 cardboard Aunt Bessie Yorkshire pudding and 3 small WAFER thin slices of beef costing just short of 10 each!! I can honestly say that the quality and portions of food sold here is worse than a frozen supermarket roast dinner! Save your money and disappointment and eat elsewhere that serve traditional quality roast dinners. This pub uses a system that requires the customer to order and pay for their food in advance and then listen for their order number to be announced on a intercom so that they can then collect the food from the bar. You would expect that due to having no waiting staff overheads, the quality of food would reflect this!
