The Catcher in the Rye, Finchley

Visually the pub is appealing, but appalling staff and atmosphere. Went there at the weekend, kitchen was closed at 2pm, ran out of several beers and no beer could be served for at least 15 minutes while they were cleaning the taps. This was all on Saturday afternoon where you'd expect some food and beer to be available....Went to get our own sandwiches and some chips while we were drinking due to kitchen closure, 1/2 hour later, bar staff storm over very rudely to tell us to take our rubbish with us. We were still drinking and as if we were going to leave without clearing our own stuff up...

Completely dead atmosphere and with obviously no idea how to treat customers, it's not surprising to see why it's empty - hop over to The Dignity instead just up the road, much much better
