Sadly no more, closed its doors on the 16th December 2009 after 150 years of being a pub. To be turned into a shop and yuppie prisons upstairs (typical). Only starting going into this pub after it stopped being a 'Scream' pub and it was great everytime. Good choice of beer, interesting punters and traditional pint pot glasses. On the last week they were selling all the fixtures, fittings and even the glasses, and the place was rammed. It will be sadly missed.

The Springvale Tavern, Sheffield
Unremarkable Surburban pub in the Crookesmoor area of Sheffield. 3 Casks Ales, Greene King IPA, Black Sheep and Spitfire suggests a distinct lack of imagination and they never change. Comfortable enough surroundings, with leather couches and TV's for watching sport. Probably pips the Hadfield down the road, but the Closed Shop and the Hallamshire House just across the road and right up the hill are a much better bet.
