The Feathers Public House and Kitchen, Rickmansworth

Visited the pub recently, after the previously mentioned refurb (after a long time out of Rickmansworth) and found a true gem.
Far from being a 'poncy' makeover the pub has been restored to it former glory with a very sympathetic job. The garden is now somewhere you'd feel comfortable spending a summers evening (as opposed to a car park), there was a great selection of cask ale, and the service was impeccable.
There is food served, which was excellent & reasonably priced, but is by no means a restaurant.
This is a fantastic addition to any town, especially compared to some of the boozers in Rickmansworth, and well worth a visit.
