The Angel, Poole

Soon be on my way back to Poole and The Angel, that's my local while I'm there, I was there every day for 3weeks when the Pub first opened and watched first hand how dedicated the new Young Land Lady was. I was so impressed with her hardwork and effort to get this pub up and running I went back to Poole for another 3weeks where friends from all over the UK came to visit, while I was there, there were many parties. A 19th, 60th, wedding ect.. Beautiful fresh homemade food.No complaints only compliments and rebookings. I had a couple of parties myself. Also they had a Mexican Night and the chillie was absolutely superb, 10 british pounds per head and eat as much as you want. my compliments to the chef.
There is no function room, but you know this when you book, up side good atomosphere and you don't pay for a hall.
Fatty123 you never mentionion how many guests were at your Christening party! and how much per head you paid. I would be interested to know.
I noticed there are not a lot of pubs that let you take babies and children in.
Dogs have always been well behaved and kept on a leash when I have been there. All this adds to make a good family pub :)
Myself I'm looking forward to eating there in the evenings again, and the lunch time Sunday roast. (I never missed one the whole time I was there, Wow real Yorshire Pud.)
