The Brixton Bar and Grill, Brixton

Under no circumstance should any sane person frequent this establishment unless you want a proper ghetto night out and don't mind being screwfaced by the local man dem who chuck it about, incessantly offered coke, served rubbish cocktails and food, and generally made to feel mad uncomfortable. I have seen it go off in here in a major way, I'm talking twelve men rucks. A complete and utter crap hole. Oh and don't even get me started on the toilets.

The Lock Tavern, Camden

I stumbled across this website while looking for another pub in Camden, it seems the Lockside is receiving quite a bit of flak and in all honesty its nearly all entirely justified. Last time I popped into this joint I was served a pint of Guiness that was utterly woeful, I returned it to the bar and was met with a "what do you want me to do about it?", to which I responded "your job mate". No joke. I manage a bar and if one of my staff spoke to a customer like that they would be out the door with my foot up their arse. I'd been here a few times prior to this and had a fair idea whom the duty manager was so popped upstairs and told her just what had happened. Just out of pure coincidence while I was recounting my fascinating tale a guy at the end of the bar piped up and asked me who it was, I asked him who he was and it turns out he was the owner. He then asked what the member of staff looked like, I declined as I didn't want to get the kid sacked even if he was a complete mug. They replaced the drink, apologised, all good. However a mass rehiring of staff is most definitely in order here, gone are the days where you can treat a punter like an imbecile. Well, within reason that is.
