Agree about the phenomenally rude young women working behind the bar. Surely it's not hard to get more professional staff in this economy?

But the pints are good, the atmosphere is nice and authentic before it gets to crowded, and the mixed grill plate on Sunday is fantastic.

The Bell, Fetcham

It's pricey, but it's a convenient local with nice up-to-date decor and fairly friendly staff. Not my first choice but not a bad place to go for a pint and some appetizers on an afternoon.

Daisy O'Briens, Bournemouth

Small, grotty pub with lively regulars. The beer selection is pretty good - a fun place to get tanked, if you don't mind waiting ten minutes for a drink.
