Edwards, Chelmsford

This is a perfect place for the young, perfect for the old trying to be young, and prefect for the chavs. BUT it does play good music, it is greatly decorated, and I think Pumpermuncher has obviously seriously had it with Chelmsford with reviews like that. Chill out, pubs and bars are the same world over......always gonna get dodgy clientele!

The Royal Steamer, Chelmsford

Absolutely disagree.. This old pub is the prefect anecdote to the weatherspoons and yates variety. It offers a unique charm, and is filled with friendly faces of ALL ages, and enables you to belong to a community. No fancy food, or money off coupons....good old fashioned beer, good old fashioned conversation....and not a non smoking area in site. Loved by all generations..a great place to be.
