Mock villagey style pub in a tourist trap environment. Expensive drinks but pleasant atmosphere. Sunday's would be nice though it's always understandably rammed. Okay if you can get seats, the view over the wharf is nice on a sunny day. A walk around St.Katherine's dock is recommended to find a cheaper establishment. Minories is up the road for cheaper drinks though the words frying pan and fire come to mind.

Was here with a one time girlfriend for our first drink together - not the most romantic of places but! Small, odd shaped boozer squashed between the junction of farringdon road and farringdon lane that gets the guardian crowd form across the road at lunchtimes. Serious, silent looking roadie type bartender. Good atmosphere after hours though a touch hard to move or get a seat when the crowd's up.

Last time I was there a work colleague bought a lunchtime "salad sandwich combination" consisting of 2 slices of toast and a few slivers of lettuce. It came to 11 quid. Suffice to say he went back to Fleetwood bankrupt.
