The Poets Corner, Bloxwich

This is a pub stuck smack bang in the middle of a rough council estate, with one road in and one road out!

I have been in myself but know several people who are regulars and whilst the beer is relatively cheap and cheerful there are a few downsides

On a previous visit, The barman - I think they call him 'Meat' he seems to think he's Smithy from Gavin and Stacey and is always taking his top off in the bar and bragging about 'sparking someone out' who gave him some lip (usually whilst eating a pukka pie or other Fatty Salty snack!)

He also talks and shouts so loud that you can't hear anyone else speak and can hear him from the nearest pub which is about a mile away.
