The Black Bear Hotel, Wareham

This is a surprisingly large pub with an impressive frontage in the centre of Wareham. Accommodation is very reasonably priced, adequate and comfortable. Rooms are serviced daily. A very friendly welcome awaits accomapanied by good beers, wines, an extensive menu and traditional surroundings including 2 dining rooms, bar, lounge, conservatory & garden. Excellent hospitality.

Charlton Inn, Charlton Marshall

Highly recommended. A very friendly place, and accommodation is comfortable, clean & reasonably priced. Food is excellent, and the number of locals that eat & drink there is recommendation in itself. Look forward to visiting again soon.

Worlds End, Almer

Have visited several times this year. Always a warm, friendly welcome, excellent (and plentiful) food reasonably priced, good beer & great choice of wines. Staff are genuinely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, and service is efficient even at the busiest times - which seems to be most of the time! My only complaint would be I really wish the seating was more comfortable, although I suppose it's in keeping with the style of the pub. I'm sure I shall return again soon.
