O'Neills, Soho

I was amazed at how badly the bouncers were allowed to treat paying customers. I went on Saturday evening about 9.30 pm with 5 friends to this O'Neills after having a good time at the Blackheath one on numerous occasions we expected the same. (Boy were we wrong). Two of my friends got turned away at the door after 4 of us had paid �6 to get in when I questioned the guy on the till he told me not so politely to leave if I didn't like it. As we had paid �24 we went in for a drink. Meanwhile the bouncers were letting people in for free which was really galling. People were getting thrown out left right and centre for no apparent reason other than the bouncers did not like them. Saying all that we stayed the night, got totally hammered and made the best of a bad job. The music was good, and the bar staff were fine. We won't be hurrying back there though the treatment dished out by the bouncers will stay fresh in my mind for a long time. No pub can afford to ignore the paying customer.
