Excellent traditional pub, welcoming and friendly. Godd choice of real ales. Cosy inside with a decent bear garden down the side.

Management doesn't tollerate swearing or any bad beahviour and as such this pub is gladly free of the 'tracksuit clad underclass'.

Good quiz night on tuesdays and thursday. Occasional live act or dj set on Fridays (60's soul/Blues).

Food is home cooked and decent without being exceptional - (good standard pub fare).
