The Reliance, Old Street

The most rude, surly set of staff you could ever have the misfortune to meet. The Manager being the worst.

Service was extremely slow and no apology given. In fact, my order was so slow it didn’t actually arrive.

When I mentioned this to the Manager for no apparent reason he said ‘I know the customer is supposed to always be right but in this case I think it is a bit of both’.

The Manager said they had been busy that day as they had ‘8 people come in for lunch’!! Including myself and my friend there were 10 people in the entire pub and this was a Friday afternoon!! Clearly the reason for this is the Manager and the staff.

He said that I had ‘probably had a bad day’. My day had been great up until visiting this pub.
