The Waterman's Arms, Ashprington

Have been visiting the Watermans for the last eight years and staying for the last six years. My wife and I both love the location and the place got even better when Rob and Jane took over.
The food is very good and the staff are friendly. I'm not that keen on Palmers beer but it's always a well kept pint and perfectly quaffable.
I do recommend the pub to anyone visiting Devon and do so in the knowledge that they will have good beer, good food and a cracking time there.

Russell Inn, Polruan

I also chose this pub on the basis of BITE reviews and was not dissapointed. I like the St Austell Tribute and they keep a good pint at the Russell and the lager and Cornish Rattler were also well kept according to my wife. The staff were friendly and the food was very good so all in all a cracking pub.
