The Globe, Covent Garden

I had dinner last night at The Globe Pub during the interval of the Ring Cycle at the Opera House. We were restricted to an hour and the staff seated and served us very quickly, they are very professional and obviously used to dealing with large volumes of people during intervals. I had the fish and chips and my husband had a pie, both of which were excellent. The pub was very busy and had a great atmosphere, I would definitely recommend it if you are going to the opera, before, after or during the interval.

The Globe, Covent Garden

I regularly go the Royal Opera House and always have a drink in The Globe during the interval and afterwards. The manager and the staff are very friendly and efficient, after the opera the musicians are regulars there which adds to the great atmosphere. I have eaten there a few times too and the food is always excellent.
