The Steam Packet, Littlehampton
Really surprised and happy to find the Steam Packet open again after so many years closed - 6 or 7 at least?
Went in primarily out of curiosity and were glad we did, the refurbishment has left the place fresh but without the plastic modern wine bar feel that seems to be the norm these days.
There were three ales on, Directors, Deuchars IPA and a localish brew Goldmarks - Liquid Gold which was really nice, well kept but not freezing cold - so top marks for that!
Had a couple of sandwiches, freshly made and served with a bowl of chips as well which were freshly made and good value. Will have to try a proper meal when we have more time.
All in all, for a place that's only been reopened 8 days it was very good.
